June 9, 2010 – On June 2, 2010, wide receiver Devard Darling was drafted by the UFL Omaha Nighthawks. At this time Darling has made no decision to join the team, and continues to be a free agent.

“I have received medical clearance from my doctors and look forward to joining an NFL team in the near future. I have worked hard over the past few months rehabbing my torn ACL and conditioning myself to return to the NFL stronger, quicker, and more determined than ever to make an impact on the field. I have great respect for the UFL; however I will not be signing with one of their teams.” Devard Darling

Devard is currently speaking with various teams and is confident the right situation will present itself. Until that time he continues to train and prepare for the upcoming season.

  1. Thought I would check in and see how you were progressing. I was asked whether you had signed with anyone but from your post I can see the situation. I hope that the Freeport and Nassau camps go well and hopefully next time, in future camps I can come down and support those efforts. Well, wishing you the best of health and complete recovery to full form…stick with it, you got it! Keep up the good fight.
