Pediatric sickle cell patients can submit a short video sharing the ultimate gift they would like SICKLE SANTA to bring them. Be sure to tag @asonefoundation on your post and #sicklesanta

Video Submission Instructions:

• Length: Please ensure your video is no longer than 30 seconds.
• Content: Post & tag @AsOneFoundation on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, clearly stating the following:
  • Name
  • Age
  • the one gift they would like from SICKLE SANTA
• Submission: Please post no later than Friday, November 15, 2024.

The SICKLE SANTA event offers 3 ways for patients, families & the community to participate:

1. Enter to Win Your Christmas Wish: Pediatric sickle cell patients, ages 0-18, can submit a short video sharing the ultimate gift they’d like from SICKLE SANTA. They just need to post the video on social media, tag @asonefoundation, and use #sicklesanta by Friday, November 8, 2024. Link to C.J.’s video: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1521814845199880

2. Sign Up to Donate Blood & Marrow on Nov 30: Community members can support our sickle cell warriors by signing up to donate blood or register as a marrow donor. Link: https://www.commitforlife.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/395601

3. Bring a Toy by Nov 30: We are collecting toys to deliver to pediatric sickle cell patients.Spread the holiday cheer by donating a new toy for pediatric sickle cell warriors to be delivered to Texas Children’s pediatric sickle cell patients during the Candy Lane Gift Donation Drive-Through on December 14, 2024.

By participating in the SICKLE SANTA Toy, Blood & Marrow Drive and submitting your video, you agree to the following:

1. I, the undersigned, give permission for my child (or myself, if over 18) to participate in the SICKLE SANTA event and understand that my video submission may be used for promotional purposes related to the event.
2. I hereby grant the As One Foundation and its partners the irrevocable right to use, publish, or distribute the video I submit, as well as any photos or videos taken during the event, for promotional, educational, or any lawful purpose without compensation.
3. I acknowledge that I am the legal parent/guardian of the child (or the participant, if over 18) and have full authority to grant this release.
4. I release and discharge the As One Foundation, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims or demands arising out of the use of the photos or videos.
5. I understand that I may request the removal of the photos/videos from future publications or promotional materials by contacting the As One Foundation in writing, but this will not apply to materials already produced.
