SICKLE CELL EDUCATION

Sickle Cell Education Goals:

• Work with the medical and educational community at large to both revise and create comprehensive educational materials related to SCT and SCD. Materials need to focus on low level, easily accessible options for international use. 
• Partner with the GLOBAL Sickle Cell Trait and Disease community to develop needed educational materials not currently present.
• Break through the stigma associated with both Sickle Cell Trait and Disease through the development of online and print curricula, in person and online educational presentations, and groundbreaking research spanning the entire sickle cell continuum.
