
Following his heart to achieve the foundation goals and honor the memory of Devaughn, he knows that, “This is the environment where I can make a difference.” Darling, the founder and current President of the As One Foundation. Darling continues to pursue his goals on the professional football field while bringing to life the dream envisioned between him and Devaughn: to bring the game of American football to their native country of the Bahamas and open the Devaughn Darling Sports Complex.

Jammy’s professional philosophy “Be quick to listen and slow to speak” has proven invaluable to the fast-paced and ever changing environment of the As One Foundation. Jammy is the Emeritus Chair of the Entertainment & Sports Law Section of the Houston Bar Association. He is also a partner of the Texas based law firm, Douglass & Kiggundu, PLLC. He is a graduate of the School of Law at the University of New Mexico and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. He has held licenses as an NBA Agent and Texas Mortgage Broker. He represents various clients including the fashion editor of a nationally distributed magazine, professional singers, music producers, actresses, record labels, fashion shows, concern promoters, and current and former professional athletes in the NBA, NFL and MLB. Jammy believes and advises that you should make and keep strong personal and professional relationships.


A fresh perspective and winning attitude and keeps the foundation’s day-to-day activities on track. Tomia Austin has taken the reigns and is poised to lead the charge of fulfilling the mission and vision of the As One Foundation. She considers it a divinely designed opportunity of a lifetime that matches her near twenty years experience in fundraising, event-planning, community and public relations with her personal passions for youth, education, sports and spiritual values. Austin earned an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism, a graduate degree in Sport & Leisure Management and is currently in pursuit of a doctorate in Public Health degree, all from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. She makes her home in Metro Atlanta, Georgia with husband, Douglas.
Jazmine Brown is a dynamic leader with over 9 years of experience in non-profit outreach and 6+ years in higher education student services. Relocating to Houston from Amarillo, Texas in 2013 with bold dreams and ambitions, she has built a career focused on equity, access, and community empowerment.
Currently, Jazmine serves as Interim Manager of Student Recruitment at Houston Community College, Staff Senator, and President of the HCC Toastmasters Chapter, while contributing as a board member for the AsOne Foundation. Her efforts have driven impactful programs and inclusive engagement, fostering growth in educational outreach.
Jazmine is also an AI student and entrepreneur, skilled in building strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives that inspire lifelong learning and community uplift meant.
